The 100 Hottest WAGS in Sports History - Part 1

For as long as there have been world-class male athletes, there have been the women who get involved with them. They're not always known by name or publicly scrutinized, but lurking just behind all good (and many not so good) athletes have been the women who loved the players, their wallets, or frequently both.
They are the wives and girlfriends, known commonly as WAGs, of sports. While the term used to apply strictly to European footballers’ significant others, the term has made its way across the Atlantic, and is now frequently attributed to ladies involved with American athletes well.
They have become a major part of today’s sporting culture. As we have seen with women ranging from Gisele Bundchen to Jessica Simpson, a WAG can say so much about an athlete that other statistics never could.
But who are the best ever? Who have stood the test of time and risen above the fray to be recognized as the top of the WAG food chain? Let’s take a look at the 100 hottest WAGs of all time.

100. Elisha Cuthbert

Wifey Of: Sean Avery, New York Rangers (NHL), Dion Phaneuf, Calgary Flames (NHL)
Occupation: Actress

Cuthbert will forever be a favorite of twentysomething males everywhere after her turn as a porn star with a heart of gold in the comedy, The Girl Next Door. In her spare time, the Canadian-born actress also dates hockey players. She first dated the outspoken Sean Avery, then moved on to Toronto Maple Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf (but not before Avery got in a very public dig at Phaneuf where he referred to Cuthbert as his "sloppy seconds"). If the comment was meant to make any sort of impact on the relationship, it didn't; Avery got suspended and is now out of the league, and the happy couple got engaged this past September.

99. Hilary Duff

Wifey Of: Mike Comrie, Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL)
Occupation: Singer, Actress

Lizzy McGuire got in on the WAG game in 2007 at age 19 when she began dating former professional hockey player Mike Comrie. While the Canadian-born Comrie never became a star in the NHL, he certainly did well in his personal life, as he and Duff got married in 2010 and had their first child in March of this last year. Duff and Comrie don't make a lot of headlines for their antics, which is probably a good sign that their marriage will last longer than most.

98. Janet Jones

Wifey Of: Wayne Gretzky, New York Rangers (NHL)
Occupation: Actress

Before there could be Paulina Gretzky, there was Janet Jones, Paulina's mother and an absolute bombshell in her own right. She appeared in numerous films throughout the 1980s, and even appeared in a semi-nude spread in Playboy in March of 1987.
In 1984, she met a young hockey player named Wayne Gretzky, taking enough of a shining to him that the couple married in 1988. Jones made headlines in 2006 when she was linked to a New Jersey gambling ring, although no charges were ever filed.

97. Madonna

Wifey Of: Dennis Rodman, Dallas Mavericks (NBA), Jose Canseco, Chicago White Sox (MLB), Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees (MLB)
Occupation: Singer

It's not often that one can profess to have had flings with two different baseball eras' faces of steroid abuse. However, Madonna has always been an innovator, and in WAGdom, she is no different. Madonna followed up a reported 1991 tryst with Jose Canseco by allegedly hooking up with Alex Rodriguez in 2008. As if this series of partners were not bizarre enough, she somehow found the time to date notorious psychopath and prolific NBA rebounder Dennis Rodman in 1996. If there was any question remaining as to Madonna's sanity level, Rodman has openly stated that she "wanted to have my babies."

96. Tawny Kitaen

Wifey Of: Chuck Finley, St. Louis Cardinals (MLB)
Occupation: Actress

In 1987, Kitaen became a rock music icon for her suggestive dancing in Whitesnake's famous "Here I Go Again" music video. She married Cleveland Indians pitcher Chuck Finley in 1997, and the couple even appeared in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue together in 1999. They stayed together until 2002, when Kitaen officially went off the deep end and was arrested for spousal abuse after repeatedly kicking Finley with her high heels while he was trying to drive them home from dinner. Not surprisingly, her most notable television appearances since these events have been The Surreal Life and Celebrity Rehab.

95. Heidi Hamels

Wifey Of: Cole Hamels, Philadelphia Phillies (MLB)
Occupation: Teacher

Hamels, still known as Heidi Strobel, was a relative nobody until the spring of 2003, when she appeared on the CBS show Survivor: Amazon. After finishing in fifth place, she was chosen to throw out the first pitch at a minor league baseball game in the spring of 2004. She caught the eye of a certain future Major League star named Cole Hamels, who would go on to marry Strobel on New Year's Eve in 2006.
She also parlayed her Survivor fame into a Playboy cover spread in March of 2004, and although it was only for the European editions, the spread will likely be her longest-lasting contribution to American pop culture.

94. Lisa Lopes

Wifey Of: Andre Rison, Kansas City Chiefs (NFL)
Occupation: Musician

Once a member of TLC, Left Eye parlayed her musical fame into a very tumultuous public relationship with troubled NFL wide receiver Andre Rison. In 1994, Lopes decided that the natural progression from an argument following a night out was to set Rison's shoes on fire in the bathtub. Needless to say, this act of defiance did not go well; she burned down their entire house. Somehow, those crazy kids managed to stay together all the way until 2002, when Lopes died tragically in a car accident.

93. Heather Kozar

Wifey Of: Tim Couch, Cleveland Browns (NFL)
Occupation: Model

Regardless of what the expectations were, Tim Couch's NFL career was pretty bad. Throw in the fact that he was the No. 1 overall draft pick, and it would be easy to label him a complete failure. However, in managing to land Kozar, Couch proved to be more of a winner than we ever thought possible. A former Barker's Beauty on The Price is Right, Kozar landed on the cover of the June 1999 issue ofPlayboy after being named the May 1998's Playmate of the Month. She took home Playmate of the Year honors for 1999, the most prestigious award either she or Couch received in their respective careers.

92. Jenna Jameson

Wifey Of: Tito Ortiz (MMA Fighter)
Occupation: Actress

If you're going to look for biographical information on Ms. Jameson, turning "safe search" on is probably a good idea. Arguably the most famous actress in the adult film industry, Jameson has recently built a media empire despite no longer adding to her incredible catalogue of 161 XXX movies in which she has starred.
After her second divorce in 2006, Jameson began seeing UFC Hall of Famer and former Light Heavyweight Champion Tito Ortiz. The pair has since had two children (twins).

91. Adriana Karembeu

Wifey Of: Christian Karembeu, Real Madrid (La Liga)
Occupation: Model, Actress

In 1998, Karembeu was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the leggiest model in the entire world, with a set of stems measuring at some 50 inches. That same year, she met soccer star Christian Karembeu on a plane from Paris to Milan. Something about the beautiful blonde sitting next to him clearly struck a chord with the former Real Madrid man, who married Adriana that December.
Though the couple split in March of 2011 over Christian's fears his wife was having an affair, Adriana has continued to model for Victoria's Secret and Wonderbra, among others.

90. Caroline Wozniacki

Wifey Of: Rory McIlroy (Irish Professional Golfer)
Occupation: Professional Tennis Player

In 2011, the Polish-born Wozniacki was determined by Forbes to be the second-highest paid female athlete in the world. That same year, she was ranked byMen's Health as one of the hottest female athletes in the world as well. Not a bad year. She even added one more credential to her already impeccable 2011 résumé: becoming one of the most famous WAGs in the world. In July, she began dating golfer Rory McIlroy, who won the PGA Championship last August. It's worth wondering, though, if the relationship is hurting Wozniacki's career. When they starting dating, she was ranked No. 1 in the world; she is currently ranked No. 11.

89. Julie Henderson

Wifey Of: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers (NFL)
Occupation: Model

This Texas-born stunner built a miniature dynasty in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue at the end of last decade, appearing in each issue from 2007 to 2010. Her dating career arc has also been fascinating, as she was first linked to the then-52-year-old hip hop mogul Russell Simmons in 2009. However, that relationship fizzled and Henderson moved in on another star: Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
While neither party ever acknowledged the relationship, their lack of denial speaks volumes. Given Rodgers' many alleged conquests (including sportcaster Erin Andrews), it would at least seem plausible that he could land someone of Henderson's considerable talents.

88. Carrie Prejean

Wifey Of: Kyle Boller, Oakland Raiders (NFL)
Occupation: Model

Prejean stirred up quite a bit of controversy during the 2009 Miss USA pageant, where she announced to Perez Hilton (and the rest of the world) that she did not approve of gay marriage. Her answer caused her to finish runner-up in the competition and brought significant negative attention upon the then-20-year-old.
She subsequently finished runner-up to Tara Reid in hooking up with former NFL quarterback Kyle Boller. While this penchant for second place would seemingly doom Prejean, she actually has recovered nicely; she and Boller are now married and have a child, and she settled her lawsuit against the Miss California USA pageant.

87. Lisa Guerrero

Wifey Of: Scott Erickson, New York Yankees (MLB)
Occupation: TV Personality

Sports fans everywhere will remember Guerrero from her turns on Fox NFL Sunday, the Best Damn Sports Show Period, and Monday Night Football. She has since moved on to Inside Edition, where she is the "Chief Investigative Correspondent." Much more interestingly, she was featured on the cover ofPlayboy in January of 2006 after previously posing in FHM, among other, more clothes-oriented magazines.
In the fall of 2003, Major League pitcher Scott Erickson spotted Guerrero on TV and made the extremely creepy decision to "track her down." It all worked out in the end, though, and the couple has been married since early 2004.

86. Heather Mitts

Wifey Of: AJ Feeley, St. Louis Rams (NFL)
Occupation: Professional Soccer Player, Model

Mitts' modeling career got started with the dubious honor of being namedPlayboy's "Sexiest Woman of the WUSA," an award for which the competition was not exactly tough. The recognition got slightly more legitimate in 2004, though, when she was voted ESPN's "Hottest Female Athlete" by the fans. She reached the height of her modeling fame in 2005, posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue among the likes of Marisa Miller and Petra Nemcova.
Mitts maintained a long, tumultuous relationship with NFL quarterback A.J. Feeley dating back to 2002, and the duo officially married in 2010.

85. Tara Reid

Wifey Of: Tom Brady, New England Patriots (NFL), Kyle Boller, Oakland Raiders (NFL), Jeremy Shockey, Carolina Panthers (NFL), Sergei Fedorov, Detroit Red Wings (NHL)
Occupation: Actress

While popular culture may have long since forgotten Reid, she has nevertheless managed to go on a fine run through the professional sports ranks. She started her career in 2002, dating emerging star Tom Brady for about a month. Reid further wetted her football player appetite in 2003 when she went out on a date with Jeremy Shockey (they attended a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert. No word on whose parents chaperoned). In 2004, Reid tried out another quarterback, former Baltimore Kyler Boller.
Perhaps sensing that football players were a bit of a dead end for her, Reid then moved on to Detroit Red Wings great Sergei Fedorov for a brief spell at the end of 2004. She seems to have learned her lesson, and no longer dates athletes.

84. Brande Roderick

Wifey Of: Glenn Cadrez, Kansas City Chiefs (NFL)
Occupation: Model, Actress

Like several of her fellow WAGs, Roderick discovered her path to success through the familiar landscape of Baywatch and Playboy. Shortly after donning her red swimsuit for the first time, Roderick found herself winning Playmate of the Year honors in 2000.
In 2006, she met future husband and former NFL linebacker Glenn Cadrez on the set of the horror film Hood of Horror, which nobody has ever heard of but did star Snoop Dogg and Billy Dee Williams. Since that time, she has gone on to nail down bit parts in films like Starsky & Hutch and The Nanny Diaries. While these credits may impress some, truly her most important contribution to society has come as one of the "Girls of RPS" in the U.S.A. Rock Paper Scissors League.

83. Carol Alt

Wifey Of: Ron Greschner, New York Rangers (NHL), Alexei Yashin, New York Islanders (NHL)
Occupation: Model, Actress

When you are nicknamed "The Face" by a popular magazine, you're probably pretty attractive. Such is the case with Alt, who is a legend of the modeling industry to the point of being named the No. 5 greatest model of all time by Ask Men. She emerged in 1982 when she graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and finally caved to the pressure (and dollars) by posing forPlayboy in 2008.
In between gigs, Alt found time to stay married to former New York Ranger Ron Greschner from 1983 to 1996. When the couple divorced, Alt found love again in the arms of another hockey player, this time with cougar hunter Alexei Yashin. Despite Alt being 12 years his senior, the two have been in a committed relationship since 2000.

82. Ilary Blasi

Wifey Of: Francesco Totti, AS Roma (Serie A)
Occupation: Model, TV Personality

A well-known child star in Italy, Blasi has been in the public eye since she shot her first television commercial at the ripe old age of three. She has gone on to host a number of shows that all have very Italian names, but all kind of sound like variations of Total Request Live.
Former Italy star and current A.S. Roma captain Francesco Totti, her husband since 2005, has been keeping close tabs on her as the couple recently took a well-documented vacation to Miami Beach. Even soccer's numerous detractors in the U.S. would surely be on board with seeing more of this gorgeous FHM and Voguemodel in the immediate future.

81. Bridget Moynahan

Wifey Of: Tom Brady, New England Patriots (NFL)
Occupation: Actress

Few words spark more anger in New England than "Bridget." After becoming a household name with her bar dancing antics in Coyote Ugly and less than convincing performance as a doctor in I, Robot, Moynahan began dating Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in 2004. When they broke up in December of 2006, fans (and Brady) all quietly moved on. However, Moynahan surprised everyone when she announced in February that she was pregnant with Brady's child. There may have also been some kind of curse involved, because Brady and the Patriots haven't won a Super Bowl since.

80. Anna Burns

Wifey Of: Wes Welker, New England Patriots (NFL)
Occupation: Model

Burns has been a fixture in the Boston WAG scene since 2010, when she began dating New England Patriots star wide receiver Wes Welker. They married in June of 2012.
Previously a winner of Miss Hooters International 2005, Burns clearly has not lost a step despite steering relatively clear of the fashion world in recent years. While she does the bulk of her work for Welker's 83 Foundation, Burns can also be seen vacationing in various tropical locales with fellow Patriots WAG Gisele Bundchen.

79. Laura Cover

Wifey Of: Aaron Boone, Houston Astros (MLB)
Occupation: Model

Aaron Boone is the most enviable man in the world for his privilege of going home to Cover. If there's one tiny consolation, though, it's this: at least she hasn't left much to the imagination for the rest of us. She first appeared inPlayboy as the October 1998 Playmate of the Month, and has been a fixture in the magazine and in its many video series ever since. Her film credits include Club Lingerie and Roommates, two undoubtedly Oscar-worthy documentaries.

78. Tami Roman

Wifey Of: Kenny Anderson, Boston Celtics (NBA)
Occupation: Reality TV Star

The latest addition to the Basketball Wives roster, Roman first made a name for herself as “the one who got reality TV’s first abortion” on The Real World: Los Angeles in 1993. At the height of her fame in 1994, she married NBA star Kenny Anderson and successfully transitioned into a modestly successful career guest-spotting on a host of television shows. The couple’s acrimonious 2001 divorce led Roman down the path to Basketball Wives, where she has made a name for herself as a rather blusterous and quick-tempered hotty. Although there are rumors she is now in anger management, it’s doubtful the producers would allow that.

77. Alicia Rickter

Wifey Of: Mike Piazza, Oakland Athletics (MLB)
Occupation: Model, Actress

Rumors raged for many years about the possibility that future Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza was, well, playing for the other team. While he denied all such insinuations (he went so far as to hold a press conference in 2002 to announce to the world,"I'm heterosexual"), Piazza put actions to his words when he married model Alicia Rickter in 2005.
Rickter's previous credits included roles on Baywatch Hawaii and The Young and the Restless. Additionally, she earned the distinction of becoming Playboy's 500th Playmate when she was crowned Miss October 1995.

76. Kate Hudson

Wifey Of: Alex Rodriguez, New York Yankees (MLB), Lance Armstrong, U.S. Postal Service Cycling Team (Tour de France)
Occupation: Actress

The actress has had two very public turns as a WAG, first with now-disgraced cycling legend Lance Armstrong in 2008 and then with polarizing New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez in 2009. While she seems to have an appetite for those who like to take shortcuts to get ahead (steroids for A-Rod, blood doping for Armstrong), Hudson could probably do much better.
Her Oscar-nominated performance in Almost Famous earned her the title of "rising star," and while her film choices may have slipped (Fool's Gold? Really?), her looks certainly have not. She has also gone on record saying "I love boys," which is every father's dream.

75. Noemie Lenoir

Wifey Of: Claude Makelele, Chelsea (EPL)
Occupation: Model, Actress

This French beauty has had a wildly successful modeling career, appearing in fashion magazines such as Elle and Glamour as well as the obligatory appearances in both the 2000 and 2001 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. While she has appeared in a couple of movies, Lenoir seems to understand that perhaps she is best served staying in the modeling game for a while.
She was married to former France and Chelsea star Claude Makelele from 2004 to 2009, although the couple split amidst allegations of infidelity.

74. Lisa Dergan

Wifey Of: Scott Podsednik, Boston Red Sox (MLB)
Occupation: Model, TV Personality

One of the few Playboy Playmates of the Year who has been able to turn her love of nudity into a successful career, Dergan certainly is the gold standard to which all future nude models should aspire. After winning the award in 1998, she went into sportscasting and by 2002, was a featured reported for Fox Sports Net. She also hosted a show named Smush, which was actually a wordplay-focused game and not anything remotely sexual.
In 2008, Dergan married speedy baseball outfield Scott Podsednik, and since that time has been a strong contender for the crown of the hottest wife in Major League Baseball.

73. Brooke Shields

Wifey Of: Andre Agassi (American Tennis Player)
Occupation: Model, Actress

In the mid-90s, Andre Agassi was an internationally renowned tennis star. He won eight Grand Slam titles over the course of his career and is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players ever. When he and Shields married in 1997, it was a seemingly perfect union of celebrity and star athlete. The couple would bear incredibly good looking and talented children, giving us a golden generation of super-babies to look forward to. Alas, the classic "irreconcilable differences" drove them apart and they divorced after less than two years of marriage.
Oh well, at least they'll always have one of the greatest (and most dated) "how we met" stories of all time: Kenny G introduced them by having Shields send Agassi a "mildly flirty fax."

72. Hope Dworaczyk

Wifey Of: Jason Kidd, New York Knicks (NBA)
Occupation: Model, TV Personality

Dworacyzk's fame is new, but she has certainly left quite an impression. She appeared on the cover of the April 2009 issue of Playboy as the Playmate of the Month, and in 2010 was selected as the magazine's Playmate of the Year. She has gone on to do some modeling with her clothes actually on, and even won $20k as a contestant on the Celebrity Apprentice in 2011.
She also got involved with NBA star Jason Kidd beginning in 2008, immediately after his divorce. If she had been expecting her new man to reform and suddenly become a good guy, she was sadly mistaken; Kidd promptly got Dworacyzk pregnant, then dumped her for a different model.

71. Vanessa Williams

Wifey Of: Rick Fox, Los Angeles Lakers (NBA)
Occupation: Actress

In 1983, the former Mrs. Rick Fox became the first African American woman to be crowned Ms. America. Unfortunately (or quite fortunately, depending on how you look at it), several nude photographs she had taken earlier in her modelling days came to light in Penthouse, and Williams was forced to give up her crown. This did not slow this beauty's career, though, and she has had great success as both an actress and musician. Remember the song "Colors of the Wind" fromPocahontas? That's her. She also found time to be married to Fox from 1999 to 2004, although the couple divorced amidst allegations of his infidelity.

70. Ingrid Vandebosch

Wifey Of: Jeff Gordon (NASCAR Driver)
Occupation: Model

Who knew Belgians were so into race car driving? In 2002, Vandebosch was introduced to NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon, and by November of 2006, they were married. Prior to becoming the first lady of the racetrack, Vandebosch had spent well over a decade as a successful model in both the U.S. and Europe.
After appearing in numerous fashion magazines, she landed a small role in the absolutely abysmal Jimmy Fallon-Queen Latifah film Taxi in 2004, a move which unsurprisingly ended her film career. She has, however, won the prestigious "Look of the Year Award" from Elite Model Management in 1990, which apparently is a big deal.

69. Hayden Panettiere

Wifey Of: Wladimir Klitschko (Professional Boxing), Scotty McKnight, New York Jets (NFL)
Occupation: Actress

First, she was the precocious daughter/narrator in Remember the Titans. Then, she was the hot (but way too young) cheerleader on the NBC show Heroes. Since those gigs, though, the Nashville star has found time to become a well-known WAG both in the U.S. and abroad.
She dated heavyweight champion boxer Wladimir Klitschko from 2009 to mid-2011, but the sheer difference in size between the two (Klitschko: 6' 6", 242 lbs.; Panettiere: 5' 2", 110 lbs.) proved too much to overcome both in and out of the bedroom. She then moved on to former New York Jets wide receiver Scotty McKnight, who is no longer with the team.

68. Keri Hilson

Wifey Of: Serge Ibaka, Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA)
Occupation: Singer

Hilson has been a fixture in pop music for over a decade, although you may not even realize it. While she was in college in the early 2000s, this beauty was writing songs for the likes of Britney Spears and Mary J. Blige before bursting onto the scene in 2006 when she appeared in Timbaland’s “The Way I Are.”
This past September, she was brought in to sing at Oklahoma City Thunder center Serge Ibaka’s 23rd birthday yacht party, and that night a great romance was born on the high seas. They are still together, and Hilson is frequently spotted at Thunder games as rumors swirl that she has moved to Oklahoma City to be with her man.

67. Alena Seredova

Wifey Of: Gianluigi Buffon, Juventus (Serie A)
Occupation: TV Personality, Model

They sure do start them young in Europe. Seradova began modeling full time at the tender age of 15, and finished runner-up in the 1998 Miss Czech Republic contest at age 20. She went on to place fourth that year at the Miss World competition, and parlayed that fame into slightly less wholesome spreads inPenthouse Europe and Playboy Europe. Her husband is the ageless Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon, whom she married in June of 2011 and who may wear even more eyeliner than his wife.

66. Bridgette Wilson

Wifey Of: Pete Sampras (American Tennis Player)
Occupation: Actress

Oh, Veronica Vaughn. Any loyal fan of great cinema will fondly remember Wilson's breakthrough role as the tough third grade teacher and Spanish Armada buff in Billy Madison, a film widely regarded by critics as one of the greatest achievements in the history of cinema. After achieving such incredible highs, the 1990 Miss Teen USA champion married tennis legend Pete Sampras in 2000. She has largely remained out of the spotlight since then, accepting only the most exclusive of roles (e.g., Gabriela Betancourt in a 2003 episode of CSI: Miami).

65. Jenn Sterger

Wifey Of: Brett Favre, Minnesota Vikings (NFL)
Occupation: TV Personality

Most college football fans remember where they were on September 5, 2005, when an ABC camera fortuitously panned across the crowd at the Florida State-Miami football game and landed upon a busty brunette we soon learned to be named Jenn Sterger. It was like seeing Randy Moss effortlessly glide past defenders or Albert Pujols easily swat home runs off of hapless pitchers; such was the raw talent on display that day.
Sterger would go on to become a successful host of multiple sports TV programs, but would ultimately make headlines as the object of then-New York Jets quarterback Brett Favre's textual desires. Whether anything actually happened between the two is anyone's guess, but if the evidence is to be believed, then it seems likely that Favre came up just a bit short.

64. Aleka Kamila

Wifey Of: Peja Stojakovic, Dallas Mavericks (NBA)
Occupation: Model

Kamila is the bride of former NBA star Peja Stojakovic, who retired after the 2011 season. So great was Stojakovic's devotion that not only did he marry Kamila shortly after meeting her in Greece, but he became a Greek citizen and served their compulsory military service during the NBA offseason. Kamila has been a huge success modeling all over Europe, appearing on the covers of Esquire,Madame and Marie Claire magazines among others. She also does some TV work, although exactly what programs she is on remains a mystery to those of us in the U.S.

63. Jenny McCarthy

Wifey Of: Brian Urlacher, Chicago Bears (NFL)
Occupation: TV Personality, Actress

In the mid-to-late 1990s, nobody was hotter than Jenny McCarthy. She wasPlayboy's 1994 Playmate of the Year, became the host of the popular MTV showSingled Out in 1995, and landed her first major film role in BASEketball in 1998. She has also authored an astonishing nine books.
While her star may have faded a bit, McCarthy still made headlines in April of this year when she began dating Chicago Bears star Brian Urlacher. In August, the same month she made her glorious return to the cover of Playboy, McCarthy announced that the pair had decided to break off their relationship.

62. Ana Ivanovic

Wifey Of: Adam Scott (Australian Professional Golfer)
Occupation: Professional Tennis Player

As one of the top women's tennis players in the world, the Serbian Ivanovic already has a lot going for her. Add to that appearances in FHMCosmopolitan, and the 2010 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and it's easy to see why she has been a much-discussed (and way more accomplished) heir to Anna Kournikova's throne of hottest tennis player.
In 2009, Ivanovic began dating professional golfer Adam Scott, and the pair traveled the globe as they became the international face of country club sports. After several breakup attempts, the couple finally called it quits for good in April of this year.

61. Anna Sedokova

Wifey Of: Valyantsin Byalkevich, Dynamo Kiev (UPL)
Occupation: Singer, Actress

Sedokova is a multi-talented performer who is a star in her native Ukraine as well as Russia due to her ability to sing, act, and be incredibly good looking. The titles of some of her most popular songs translate to "The Very Best Girl" and "I Am Getting Used."
She spent 2004 to 2006 married to Belarusian soccer player Valentine Belkevich, who played for Dynamo Kiev of the Ukranian League from 1996 to 2008. Now that they have split, expect more incisive song titles and possibly adding "Poet Laureate" to Sedokova's list of honors.

60. Vanessa Minnillo

Wifey Of: Derek Jeter, New York Yankees (MLB)
Occupation: Actress, TV Personality

Minnillo began boosting her very strong résumé from a young age, winning Miss Teen USA in 1998. She hosted Total Request Live on MTV from 2003 to 2007, and in 2007 also co-hosted the Miss Universe competition. She has twice appeared on the cover of Maxim, and was ranked No. 15 on the magazine's 2006 Hot 100 list.
She also took a spin on the Derek Jeter carousel of beautiful women, dating the Yankees' shortstop from 2003 to 2005. While the relationship didn't last, Minnillo does bear the distinction of being the second-longest tenured of Jeter's many former girlfriends.

59. Anna Benson

Wifey Of: Kris Benson, Arizona Diamondbacks (MLB)
Occupation: Model

In November of 2004, Benson was on the cover of FHM and designated by the magazine as "baseball's hottest wife," a notable achievement given some of the other beauties on this list. She also starred on the short-lived VH1 series Baseball Wives, which was cancelled primarily due to its failure to feature the drink throwing and fisticuffs that makes Basketball Wives so entertaining.
While she may no longer be the stunner she once was and her husband Kris filed for divorce this past July, we'll always remember her for that time she told Howard Stern she would "do everybody on [Kris'] whole team" if he cheated on her.

58. Alessia Ventura

Wifey Of: Filippo Inzaghi, AC Milan (Serie A)
Occupation: TV Personality, Model

Ventura has been a mainstay in the Italian fashion world since emerging as a star in her mid-teens, and she has also branched out into the world of television. She has not only been a highly successful model (including a turn on Italy's version of The Price is Right), but has also participated in a number of reality TV shows over the last ten years such as Italy's version of The Mole.
She has maintained a persistently on-again, off-again relationship with Italian striker Filippo Inzaghi since 2008, with the couple allegedly splitting for good several months ago. It seems the philandering ways of Inzaghi finally caught up to him, leaving him to contemplate what might have been with this young beauty.

57. Jessica Biel

Wifey Of: Derek Jeter, New York Yankees (MLB)
Occupation: Actress

Biel was at a career crossroads in 2006, when the Camden family finally said goodbye as 7th Heaven went off the air for good. As many of us have done at a vulnerable junction of our lives, Biel acted out. Rather than committing a crime, she instead got involved with the promiscuous Derek Jeter, a man notorious for his many conquests. The relationship only lasted a couple months, and despite debacles such as Stealth and New Year's Eve, it's hard to suggest that Biel's career has truly suffered as a result.

56. Gena Lee Nolin

Wifey Of: Cale Hulse, Calgary Flames (NHL)
Occupation: Model, Actress

If you watched sports on TV about 10 years ago, you'll remember this Coors Light ad that featured "shots of Gena Lee." Before that, though, Lee had already risen to fame as a star of the David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson-led juggernautBaywatch. She also had taken a brief spin as one of Barker's Beauties on The Price is Right, a job many have aspired to hold yet few have actually attained.
After two failed attempts at marriage, Lee married former NHL player Cale Hulse in 2004 and has since gone on to have two kids. While she hasn't appeared in anything recently, you can see as much of her as you like if you flip back to the Christmas 2001 edition of Playboy.

55. Kendra Wilkinson

Wifey Of: Hank Baskett, Minnesota Vikings (NFL)
Occupation: Model, TV Personality

If you're looking for a fun game, google "Kendra Wilkinson" and see if you find more pictures of her with or without her clothes on. The former Playboyplaymate and star of the E! series The Girls Next Door and Kendra has made a name for herself as a purveyor of nudity, although recently she has attempted to branch out more into the world of the clothed.
Her current show (the aptly named Kendra on Top) airs on WE TV and centers around Wilkinson's life with her husband, former NFL receiver Hank Baskett, whom she married in 2009.

54. Helen Svedin

Wifey Of: Luis Figo, Real Madrid (La Liga)
Occupation: Model

While scant biographical information exists about her, we do know that this leggy Swedish blonde has been a long-term fixture on the WAG scene as the wife of former Portugal and Real Madrid star Luis Figo. The two met in 1996 and have a seemingly functional marriage, no easy feat given Figo's international fame. Svedin has done pretty well for herself too, as at 36 she is still the face of H&M, and despite having birthed three kids, still has an absolutely amazing body. On behalf of mankind, we'd like to thank the Figo-Svedin family for greatly strengthening the gene pool.

53. Willa Ford

Wifey Of: Mike Modano, Dallas Stars (NHL)
Occupation: Singer, Actress

A woman of many identities, Ford's actual name became Amanda Lee Modano after her marriage to Dallas Stars legend Mike Modano in 2007. It's probably a good thing she kept going by Willa Ford professionally, though; she and Modano announced in August of this year that they are getting divorced. Ford is best known for her many reality TV hosting gigs, appearing on Dancing with the Stars, and (naturally) posing for Playboy in 2006. She also played the title role in the straight-to-DVD Anna Nicole Smith Story, a movie that was "fast tracked," yet managed to be released a full two and a half years after Smith's death.

52. Danielle Lloyd

Wifey Of: Teddy Sheringham, West Ham United (EPL), Marcus Bent, Birmingham City (EPL), Jermain Defoe, Tottenham Hotspur (EPL), Jamie O'Hara, Wolverhampton Wanderers (EPL)
Occupation: Model

The curvaceous Lloyd is quite accomplished on the beauty pageant circuit, having won Miss England in 2004 and Miss Great Britain in 2006. The natural follow-up to those wins, of course, was the pinnacle of all beauty pageants: Playboy. This decision, along with her torrid affair with former England national team striker Teddy Sheringham, caused her to be stripped of her Miss Great Britain title. Since breaking up with Sheringham in 2007, Lloyd moved on to fellow English footballers Marcus Bent, Jermain Defoe, and Jamie O'Hara. The fourth time proved to be the charm, as Lloyd and O'Hara were married this past May and now have two kids.

51. Vanessa Bryant

Wifey Of: Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers (NBA)
Occupation: Dancer

It’s a story like Romeo and Juliet, really: NBA player meets 17-year-old high school student, couple gets engaged six months later, family refuses to attend wedding, the marriage doesn’t end well. So goes the ballad of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, who met in 1999 when Vanessa was a backup dancer for Tha Eastsidaz. They went through quite the public hoopla when Kobe was accused of rape in 2003, an ordeal which Vanessa parlayed into one of the biggest and most expensive apology rings the world has ever seen (it’s worth a reported $4 million). All the rings in the world couldn’t stop Kobe from cheating, though, and amidst these repeated allegations of infidelity, the couple split in late 2011.
